  • Why is my prescription plan coverage changing from MedScript to LDI Integrated Pharmacy Services?
  • LDI Integrated Pharmacy Services has acquired MedScript. The two companies partnered because they share a common history and philosophy of managing pharmacy services to improve patient care. Because of this alignment, customers will experience the same high-touch personal service and low-cost pharmacy services they have come to expect from both companies.

  • When does this change take effect?
  • This change is effective June 27, 2008.

  • What does this change mean for me?
  • There will be no change to your benefit coverage or services. Customers can expect the same exceptional customer care, the same friendly health care professionals and the same affordable prescriptions.

    The only change is the MedScript pharmacy in Earth City will be closed as of June 27, 2008, and all of its prescriptions will be transferred to the LDI pharmacy at 680 Craig Road, Suite 103, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141. You will also receive a card in the mail with the new address and a map showing where the pharmacy is located.

    You can continue to use your existing MedScript member cards at our network of 54,000 pharmacies across the United States.

    The existing MedScript phone numbers will remain in operation until January 1, 2009. However, we encourage you to start using LDI’s phone numbers:

    • If you have questions about your mail-order prescriptions, please contact LDI’s mail-order service phone line at 314-652-1121 or 1-866-516-1121.
    • For questions regarding your plan benefits, you can call your plan sponsor or our patient care phone line at 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.
  • Does this change my plan coverage or co-pays?
  • No, there are no changes to your plan benefits or co-payment amounts. You can also continue to use your existing MedScript member card at our network of 54,000 pharmacies across the United States.

  • Will I still have coverage for all the brand name, specialty and generic medications I need?
  • Yes, your coverage remains the same, and you will have access to all of the same brand name, specialty and generic medications that you had with MedScript.

  • Will there be any disruption in service or plan coverage?
  • There will be no interruption of service or delay in fulfilling prescriptions by mail or in person.

  • I have a prescription refill coming up soon. Do I need to transfer my prescription records to LDI in order to receive it?
  • No, your prescription records have already been transferred to LDI’s system. If you’ve been using mail-order service, your prescriptions will continue to be mailed to your home.

    Beginning June 27, 2008, if you have been picking up your prescriptions at the MedScript Earth City pharmacy location, you may opt to have your medications mailed to your home or choose to pick them up at the LDI Pharmacy located at 680 Craig Road, Suite 103, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141. To discuss your preference, please call our patient care phone line at 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.

    You may also continue to use your existing MedScript member card to fill prescriptions at any of the 54,000 pharmacies in our network.

  • Who do I contact if I have problems getting my medications or questions about my prescription plans?
  • If you have questions about your mail-order prescriptions, please contact LDI’s mail-order service phone line at 314-652-1121 or 1-866-516-1121. For questions regarding your plan benefits, you can call your plan sponsor or our patient care phone line at 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.

  • Can I still go to my regular MedScript representative with questions?
  • Yes, your regular contact from MedScript should be available to assist you. Please note, all of our patient care representatives will also be familiar with your prescription plan coverage and are happy to answer questions. Our team of health care professionals includes clinical pharmacists, registered nurse case managers and patient care representatives who are dedicated to serving your needs.

  • With this change, does my doctor need to follow different procedures to call in prescriptions or write prescriptions for mail-order use?
  • No, your doctor will follow the same procedures for phoning in prescriptions or providing written prescriptions for mail-order use. We will be in contact with your doctor to inform them of the new phone-in and mail-order contact information.

Mail-Order Service Questions

  • Will I still be able to use MedScript’s mail-order service for my medications?
  • The process for prescription mail orders has not changed. Whether you have been using the automatic refill phone line, mailing in your prescriptions, making an order online or calling MedScript to speak with a customer service representative, the way you order your prescriptions remains the same.

    The existing MedScript phone numbers will remain in operation until January 1, 2009. However, we encourage you to start using the new contact information:

    • To place mail orders by phone, please call 314-652-1121 or 1-866-516-1121.
    • To mail in your prescription order, please fill out your regular MedScript order form and mail it to LDI at 680 Craig Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141. We will include a new LDI mail-order form in your next order.
    • All online mail orders will be transferred to LDI’s system as of June 27, 2008. Please visit www.ldirx.com to access these services.
  • Do I need to transfer my mail-order prescription records to LDI?
  • No, there is no need for you to transfer your records to LDI. Your prescription history and information, as well as the health care professionals who served you at MedScript, will all be available at the LDI pharmacy location at 680 Craig Road, Suite 103, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141, or by calling 314-652-1121 or 1-866-516-1121.

  • How long does it take to get prescriptions from LDI’s mail-order service?
  • All mail-order prescriptions received in-house are filled and mailed within 24 hours. Members receive their mail-order prescriptions by first-class mail within one to five working days after leaving the mail-order facility. If there is a delay in filling the prescription as a result of payment verification, therapeutic intervention, lack of refills or any other circumstance that prohibits filling of the prescription, the customer or a specified family member will be contacted and informed of the situation in a timely manner.

Online Service Questions

  • Will I still be able to access MedScript’s online services (including Pharmacy Portal), order refills and checking my prescription status?
  • You will still have access to the same information that was included in MedScript’s Pharmacy Portal, including pharmacy locations, your medication history and drug information. On June 27, 2008, access to these services will be transferred to LDI’s RxPortal, which you can find at www.ldirx.com.

    To register for RxPortal, you will need your full member id, including person code.

    If you do not have your full member id, you can request it by e-mailing service@ldirx.com or calling our patient care phone line at 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.

    When you have your full member id and person code, go to www.ldirx.com and then go to the LDI RxServices for Members tab and click on ‘Login.’ To register, click on ‘Click Here for New Registrations.’

    You will need to review and accept LDI terms and conditions to register. Then, fill out the online registration form for LDI’s RxPortal Services for Members, which requires your member id with person code.

    You will then create a unique user name and password in order to access RxPortal.

    Please note, after June 27, 2008, the ability to track your prescriptions will no longer be available online. If you need assistance tracking your medications, please contact one of our patient care representatives at 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.

    You will now also have access to LDI’s Health Envelope, an online tool that enables members to access medication information, explore disease management advice and experiment with a variety of health and wellness calculators.

    To register for LDI’s Health Envelope, go to www.ldirx.com and then go to the Health Envelope tab and click on ‘Login.’ Click on the ‘Register’ button and then click ‘Continue to Complete Registration.’ You will need to agree to the Health Envelope terms of use to continue to the registration form. Complete the online registration form, which requires your member id.

    You will create a unique user name and password in order to access Health Envelope services.

  • Has the online refill ordering process changed?
  • No, the online refill ordering process has not changed. However, as of June 27, 2008, you will need to make online refill orders through LDI’s online RxPortal, which you can register for at www.ldirx.com.

  • Do I need to transfer my current online prescription records to LDI?
  • No, there is no need for you to transfer your records to LDI’s online system – that has been taken care of automatically.

Pharmacy Location Questions

  • Will my existing prescription card still work at my local pharmacy?
  • If you were already using your MedScript member card at your local pharmacy, it will continue to be accepted at that pharmacy. It will also be accepted at any of the 54,000 pharmacies in our network.

  • I used to go to MedScript’s pharmacy location in Earth City. Where can I go now to fill my prescription that’s close by?
  • MedScript’s pharmacy has moved to the LDI pharmacy location at 680 Craig Road, Suite 103, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141.

  • Do I need to transfer my records to LDI’s pharmacy?
  • If you were using MedScript’s pharmacy, there is no need for you to transfer your records – that has been taken care of automatically. Your prescription history and information, as well as the health care professionals who served you at MedScript, will all be available at the LDI pharmacy location at 680 Craig Road, Suite 103 Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141, or by calling 314-652-3121 or 1-866-516-3121.

    If you filled your prescriptions at one of MedScript’s in-network pharmacies, you will still be able to get your prescriptions filled there.
